Rhonda Arleene Bloodworth, of Gray Georgia died in her home surrounded by loved ones, Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017, at 11:00AM, at Hart's Mortuary Jones County Chapel, with Rev. Johnny Baggett officiating. Burial will be held in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens, following the service. The Family will greet friends on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 6-8:00PM at the family's residence. The family will also greet friends Friday, May 19, 2017, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice Care Options, 486 New Street, Macon, GA 31201. Mrs. Bloodworth retired from the JCBOE after over 20 years of service. During her time at Mattie Wells Elementary and Wells Primary, she developed many friendships as well as touched the lives of the many children she was devoted to. She was predeceased in death by her son, Thomas Wayne Bloodworth; mother, Jackie Nelson; and sister, Cherrie Ann Davis. Mrs. Bloodworth is survived by her husband, Carl Bloodworth; son, Carlos Bloodworth (Wendy); daughter, Beth Bloodworth (Rusty); father, Ronald Nelson; grandsons, Alex and Blake Bloodworth; brothers, Ronnie and Phillip (Tonya) Nelson; and several nieces and nephews.
