Rhea Pearce Converse

Rhea Pearce Converse, 80, of Macon, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018. Services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the chapel at the Hart’s at the Cupola with the Reverend John Kinzer officiating. The family will greet friends at the residence following the service.

Mr. Converse was the son of the late William Keith and Carolyn Converse. He was a member of Kappa Alpha Order, a Georgia Tech Alumni, and a die-hard Georgia Tech fan. He had an incredible work ethic and was a kind, generous, loving husband, father and man that was a friend to all. He loved cycling and motorcycling and was very active in the cycling community. Mr. Converse is predeceased by his first wife, Miriam "Midge" Camp Converse and his brother, William "Bill" Keith Converse, Jr.

Mr. Converse is survived by his wife, Judith Converse of Macon; children, Robert “Bob” (Elisabeth) Converse of Virginia, Steven (Dana) Converse of Cedartown, Georgia, Roger Neil Honeycutt, Susan Alice Flanary and Leo H. (Valerie) Vezzali, III; grandchildren, Lauren Converse, Allison Taylor Gurley, Nathanal Patrick Flanary, Gavin Quinn Flanary, Maximo Vezzali, Gia Vezzali, Vito Vezzali, Kirsten Brock and Christopher Wisener; and sisters, Carol Converse (Drew) Tuggle of Ennice, North Carolina and Lynda Converse (Archie) Maggliochetti of Cokesbury, New Jersey.
