Reverend Rodney E. Mccant

Reverend Rodney E. McCant passed away on November 6, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 11:00AM at Christ Community Church, Gray, GA with Reverend Ricky Tidwell officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior with burial to follow at 3:00PM at Buckhorn UMC Cemetery in Dudley, GA. Memorials may be made to Christ Community Church, 565 Lite N Tie Road, Gray, GA 31032. Brother Rodney was predeceased by his parents Walter Allen McCant and Maxie Bryant McCant; and six brothers, Carl, Julian, Gene, Doyle, Jerry and Charles McCant. He was proud of being a minister and had been since 1998. He was a loving father and devoted husband. Brother Rodney is survived by the love of his life for 51 years, Warnell McCant; sons, Scott McCant, James Rodney McCant (Brandie) and Robert Earl McCant; grandsons, Justin and Kristopher; sisters, Sybil Odom (Bart) and Nell Moon; and several nieces and nephews.
