Rena Lee Halliman Bullard

Macon-Rena Lee Halliman Bullard, of Macon, died Wednesday morning at her daughter's residence. Mrs. Bullard was born on December 25, 1931 to the Reverend Gus Tom and Mellie Mae Urquhart Halliman of Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Bullard was preceded in death by her husband, Henry N. Bullard, Sr., whom she was married to for 53 years, and a sister, Alice Grimes of Phenix City, AL.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, December 20, 2008, at Gateway Fellowship Church of God with the Reverend Tim Kelly and Dr. David L. Carter officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 19, 2008 between 5:30-7:30PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon.

Mrs. Bullard was a member of Gateway Fellowship Church of God. She was a retired child care giver from Cozy Corner Day Care, a family owned and operated business. She was affectionately known as "Memaw" to her family and the many children for whom she cared. Mrs. Bullard was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend who will be missed by many.

Survivors include her five children, Henry N. (Faye) Bullard, Jr. of Macon, Linda (Ron) Foreman of Albany, Dianne (Sam) Goodwin of Macon, Brenda (Steve) Bazemore of Macon, and Lynn (Andy) Cerny of Macon. She leaves behind twelve grandchildren, Henry David Bullard, Carolyn Jackson, Susan Bullard, Mary Bullard, Crystal Goodwin, Sam Goodwin Jr., Katie Bazemore, Rachel Bazemore, Carine Cerny, Andrew Cerny, and Roan Cerny all of Macon, Christine Clifton of Albany, and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Tom (Carol) Halliman of Ft. Wayne, IN; sister, Betty Bullard of Columbus, GA.; two brothers-in-law, Vernon Bullard and Bruce (Peggy) Bullard; and sisters-in-law, Shirley (Ronnie) McKnight and Ruby Culverson all of Columbus area; and lifelong family friend, Eloise Laura Honeycutt.
