Rebecca Harrison Rankin

Rebecca Harrison Rankin, 83, of Macon, Georgia passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026.

Rebecca was the wife of the late Jerry B. Rankin. She was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother whose love and presence will be deeply missed by her family and all of those who knew her.

Rebecca had a passion for gardening and found great joy in creating beauty around her. She also enjoyed a fulfilling career in interior design, where her eye for beautiful things and detail was reflected in her work and the spaces that she helped create.

Rebecca had special love for her dog, Oliver, who was her beloved companion and brought much joy and companionship throughout the years.

She is survived by her children, Denise (Thad) Rankin Childs of Macon, and Jeffrey Scott (Angella) Rankin of Waverly, Georgia; her grandchildren, Lana (Daren) Childs Montford, Scott Rankin and Harrison Rankin, as well as three great-grandchildren.

Rebecca will be remembered for her creativity, beautiful gardens, and love of those closest to her.
