Raymond Edward Phillips passed away on June 24, 2016. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00AM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA with Dr. Tommy Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Ridge Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel. Raymond is predeceased by his wife of fifty-nine years, LaWanda Elizabeth Higgins Phillips; daughter, Rhonda Phillips; and parents William and Sarah Phillips. He loved working in the yard and he loved his family. Raymond is survived by his son, Freddrick Phillips, Sr.; daughter, Terri Potts; grandchildren: Chasiti Brady (Josh Smith), Chance Buck (Amber), Freddrick Phillips Jr., Amanda Phillips (Roy Rogers), Dustin Phillips (Michelle) and Stacey Phillips Clack (Eddie); great-grandchildren, Leiah Smith, Harliegh Phillips, Steven Reynolds Croy, Braydon Rogers, MayKailya Elyzabeth Rogers, Levi Phillips, Wesley Buck, Jordan Buck, and Jaxson Clack; brothers, Henry Phillips, Jr. of Gray, GA, and Bo Phillips of Haddock, GA; sisters, Mae Mullis of Monroe County, Ruby Tippins of Rochelle, GA, and Penelope Pennington of Augusta, GA.
