Ray "Goat" Cauley

Ray "Goat" Cauley, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, February 9, 2015. Family will greet friends Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, between 5:30-7:30PM. Funeral will be private. Ray was a graduate of Lanier High School where he played football for the Lanier Poets. He retired from Bell South after forty years of service. After retirement, Ray enjoyed working in the yard full time and helping his children, grandchildren, neighbors, and friends. There was no project or task that Ray could not do and do well. He is predeceased by his parents, Youless and Lucille Cauley; and son, Ray E. Cauley, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Garner Cauley; sons, Scot Cauley (Becky), Lew Watson (Leslie); daughter, Sabrina Griffin; grandchildren, Coleman and Kennedy Cauley, Maggie and Juliet Watson, and Savannah Griffin; and brother, Everette Cauley (Charlotte).
