Randy Kitchens

The Reverend Randy Kitchens, 48, died Friday, January 30, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Greenwood Baptist Church with the Reverends Glynn Cranford, Clay Bowden, and Bob Hamilton officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Bolingbroke. Visitation: Monday 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. The family may be contacted at 1352 Bass Road (478-477-3484). Randy was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church where he was an ordained minister and deacon. He taught bible study for Firefighters for Christ in Bibb County. He was a member of Team Honduras at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Randy was the store manager for CVS on Gray Highway and Emery Highway for 10 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Laurie Bass Kitchens of Gray; son, Josh Kitchens of Milledgeville; parents, Frank and Jackie Kitchens of Macon; sister, Cheryl Bentley of Georgetown, KY; brother, Donnie Kitchens of Jefferson, GA; former spouse, Debbie Kitchens of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
