Raleigh C. Faircloth

Raleigh C. Faircloth, 86, of 3180 Ohara Drive, North, died Sunday, May 4, 2014. Services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:00PM at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer with Pastor Jim Braswell officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart’s Mortuary, 765 Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204. Mr. Faircloth was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Helga K. Faircloth, his sons, Melissa Faircloth and Raleigh Faircloth, Jr., his sister, Marlyn Brown Faircloth and his cousin, Rudolph Faircloth. Mr. and Mrs. Faircloth both served their country and were proud veterans. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer and loved fishing and working in his yard. Mr. Faircloth is survived by a cousin, Don Faircloth of Florida; niece, Karen Peppers and his loving and caring neighbors of fifty years, Barry and Stephanie Boss of Macon.
