Quinton H. Dent, Jr. was a gift to us from heaven for us to know and love through Mrs.Janie Dent Taylor and Mr. Quinton H. Dent, Sr. on the 26th of July 1940. Nephew of Lucile Wright. He was born in Macon, Ga. Lived on Desoto Pl., where he was lovingly known as the "Mayor". Over the years he shared stories from the old times and never let us forget what was and still is the beauty of life. To cherish what we have and live every day as the last one. "You may be excused," as well as "Please and Thank you's" were always part of his good southern tradition. He married and divorced Mrs. Sherlie Boss later on in life. Remarried Mrs. Margaret Schneider, with whom he had the gift of a daughter. Mrs. Sharon "Jan" Edwards. Mrs.Edwards is married to Mr. Jim Edwards, and they have the only granddaughter Ms. Justyn Edwards. They reside in California. Mr. Dent was a Nurse at the Medical Center for a great number of years, as well as an active part of the Macon Little Theater. His helping hand was well known throughout town! He went to meet the good lord on October 22nd, 2008.
