Quintess Lynn R. Price, 56, of Forsyth, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012, after battling cancer with grace and courage. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at 2:00pm, in the chapel at Ingleside Baptist Church. Dr. Tim McCoy and Dr. Mark Hudgins will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray, GA. The family will greet friends two hours prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Compassion International, 12290 Voyager Pkwy, Colorado Springs, CO 80997 or to Save a Life, 112 Pierce Ave, Macon, GA 31204.
Mrs. Price was born in Macon, GA to Quintess Braden Reynolds and the late Floyd Thomas Reynolds, Jr. She was a graduate of Auburn University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Mrs. Price loved her Lord and Savior, and was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by two children, Ethan Reynolds Price and Rebecca Lynn Price. Mrs. Price was a loving, caring person, and an exceptional artist. She loved her pets, especially her cats, Kleban and Bartie.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Price; son, Jordan Rawlings Price; mother, Quintess Reynolds; sister, Nancy (Spence) Norton; brother, Mark (Melissa) Reynolds; nieces and nephew, Russ (Tracy) Norton, Autumn Norton-Chaet, Emily Reynolds and Claire Reynolds, and her very dear friend, Debbie Johnson.
The family would also like to thank the staff of Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon for their outstanding care during the past couple months.
