Pvt. First Class Amy Elizabeth Layton: 21, of Peachtree City, Ga. passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 resulting from a motor vehicle accident. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Heritage at Bass United Methodist Church 4062 Vineville Ave. Burial will be private. Reverend Rex Odom will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. till 2 p.m. in the church. Born in Macon, She was a Private First Class in the U.S. Army Reserve. She is survived by her mother, Deborah Elaine Crawford of Scaly Mountain, North Carolina; father, Gordon "Skip" Layton of Locust Grove, Ga. Brother, Petty Officer First Class Adam Layton of Pearl Harbor, HI; Fiance': Adam Gault of Peachtree City, Ga. Grandparents, Gordon A. Layton Sr. of Warner Robins, Ga.; Joe and Lillian Mullis of Macon, Ga. Other survivors include numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
