Phyllis Jane Eckert

Phyllis Jane Eckert, 89, of Macon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 9, 2021.  Born November 23, 1931 in Iowa, she was married to the late James Eckert.  In August 2014, she moved from Reynolds Landing on Lake Oconee to Carlyle Place in Macon.  During her 89 years, she enjoyed many activities, including playing bridge and golf.  She was also a member of the Catholic Church in Macon.  She was a great mother and friend, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Ms. Eckert is survived by her two sons; David of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Daniel Eckert and his wife, Mimi, of Griffin, Georgia; grandson, Matthew Eckert and his wife, Laura ; great grandchildren, Bradley, Ella, Shelby, Jameson, and Evelyn Eckert, of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
