Phillip "Phil" Wayne Toole

Phillip “Phil” Wayne Toole, 74, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025. He was born on August 2, 1951, to the late Samuel Frank Toole and Ethel Virginia Williamson Toole. A lifelong resident of Lizella, Georgia, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and he loved his 1973 Volkswagen Beetle.

Phil is survived by his nephew, Clay Burnette of Donaldsonville, Georgia; niece, Amy Newman (Chad) of Macon; great niece and nephews, Gabe Burnette, Erica Carroll and Sabastian Burnette; great great nephews, Oliver Burnette, Owen Burnette, and Emerson Carroll; and brother-in-law, Benji Walker of Brunswick, Georgia

In addition to his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his loving wife of 31 years, Diane Toole; and sister, Wanda Gail Cook.
