Philip W. Mcmahon

Philip W. McMahon, 53, of Macon, died Sunday, December 2, 2012. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church with the Reverends Scott Walston and Jody Long officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the church. Mr. McMahon, born in Macon, Georgia, was preceded in death by his father, Cornelius W. McMahon, Jr. He was proud of his career in the Department of Operational Services at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, retiring after thirty-two years of service. Mr. McMahon attended Macon State and Georgia Southern University. Mr. McMahon is survived by his wife of twenty-four years, Sandra McMahon of Macon; children, Nicholas McMahon and Sara McMahon, both of Macon; mother, Martha McMahon Stewart of Macon; sisters, Susan Lubbers (David) of Augusta, Georgia and Sandy Hunt (Chris) of Canton, Georgia.
