Phil Mauro

Phil Mauro, 80, of Macon, passed away March 15, 2018. Visitation will be held from 7:00PM until 9:00PM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 5962 Zebulon Road, PMB 359, Macon, GA 31210. Mr. Mauro retired from the United States Air Force after serving in the Vietnam War. Following his military career, he worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 years. Mr. Mauro is survived by his wife, Patricia Mauro of Macon; children, Arlene Beck (Ronald) of Tallahassee, Florida, Tina Marie West (Lee) of Bonneau, South Carolina, Tony Ricotta (Pam) of Plantation, Florida; adopted daughter, Sheryl Bufkin (Gary) of Monticello, Georgia; 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 2 great great-grandchildren.
