Pearl Maree Hudson

Macon- Pearl Maree Hudson, 82, of 1271 Timberlane Drive, died Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Services will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with the Reverend Tripp Martin officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Alzheimer's Association, 277 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Macon, Georgia 31201, Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204, or Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31204. Mrs. Hudson was the daughter of the late Joseph A. McCarthy and the late Eleanor Myrtle Edwards McCarthy and was predeceased by her sister, Eleanor Wilder. She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church. Mrs. Hudson was a registered nurse and a CET nurse, retired after forty-three years of nursing. She worked at the Coliseum Hospital. Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband, Dan Hudson; son, Dan Hudson, Jr. of Macon, Georgia; daughter, Jerrie Kay Hulsey (Jeff) of Bethlehem, Georgia; grandchildren, Jessica Ratliff of Eastman, Georgia and Danielle Hulsey of Bethlehem, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Tyler Ratliff of Gloucester, Virginia and Crickett Thompson of Eastman, Georgia; sister, Mary Jo Thomas of Hazlehurst, Georgia; five nieces; twelve great-nieces and great-nephews and six great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
