Pauline Meadows Lamar, 90, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at 2:00PM at Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the graveside on Thursday at 1:00PM. Mrs. Lamar was born in Jeffersonville, Georgia on October 28, 1922 to the late Lawrence and Lula Pettis Meadows. She was predeceased by her husband, James L. Lamar and brother, Albert Meadows. She was a homemaker, a retired poll manager for the Bibb Board of Elections and a member of Northridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Lamar is survived by daughters, Marriann Nowell (Bill) of Columbus, Georgia, Barbara Kimball (Rick) of Macon, Georgia and Vicki Crow (Tom) of Macon, Georgia; grandchildren, Matthew Nowell and Michelle Nowell of Columbus, Georgia, John Kimball of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Tracy Kimball (fiancé, John Gray) and one great-granddaughter, Riley Kimball Gray all of Macon, Georgia. The family wishes to thank the staff of John Wesley Villas, Bolingreen Health and Rehabilitation Center, and Hospice Advantage and Care.
