Paul C. Moore, Iii

Paul C. Moore, III, 75, of Macon, passed away peacefully, September 9, 2018, surrounded by family. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Hart’s at the Cupola. Kenneth Walker and The Reverend Dwayne Outlaw will officiate. The family will greet friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to American Lung Association National Office, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601 or to the humane society of your choice.

Mr. Moore was born in Petersburg, Virginia, October 27, 1942 to Paul and Florence Moore. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and later retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corporation after 34 years as a supervisor. His hobbies were woodworking, fishing, watching NASCAR racing and spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Moore is predeceased by his father, Paul C. Moore, Jr. and step-father, John Traylor.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Gwen Moore of Macon; son, Paul C. Moore, IV; daughter, Brandi Doyle (Craig); grandson, Jaxon Doyle; mother, Florence Traylor; brother, Jimmy Moore (Jean); sisters, Linda Hass and Branda Gray (Jack); sister-in-law, Debra Lott; brother-in-law, Robert Dame (Tammy); and mother-in-law, Frances Dame.
