Paul Carter, Jr.

Paul Carter, Jr., of Macon, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 2, 2014, at 3:00PM, in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street with the Reverend Matt Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens, Macon GA. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tabernacle Baptist Church building fund. Mr. Carter attended Lanier High School where he was a star athlete and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. He loved sports and was a coach for nearly 50 years. Mr. Carter coached recreation football and basketball, as well as Little League Baseball up until his death. Survivors: Brother, Jerry (Sheree) Carter of Macon; Niece, Staci Carter of Atlanta and nephew, Cameron Carter of Macon. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
