Paul "Douglas" Folendore, Jr., 69, of Haddock entered into his eternal rest at his home while surrounded by his loving family on December 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 2:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, 307 Pecan Lane, Gray, GA 31032. The Minister Tim Childs will be officiating with burial following at Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Hart's Jones County Chapel. Douglas was born on June 9, 1947 in Gordon, Georgia. He was the son of the late Paul Douglas Folendore, Sr., and Helen Folendore. He was the owner and operator of "Douglas Folendore Trucking" company. Douglas enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He worked diligently out of his shop at his home where he loved to spend time with his friends. He also loved spending time and working on the Folendore family farm, where he grew up. Douglas is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lois Folendore of Haddock; his children, Paul Folendore, III (Mitzi) of Gray, and Shane Folendore (Trina) of Gray; Lisa Caraway (Charles) of Gray, and Michelle Durden (Eric) of Haddock; fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren; mother, Helen Folendore of Haddock; and three sisters, Gayle Herrington (Terry) of Haddock, Debra King (Wade) of Gray, and Cherry Childs of Gray.
