Patty Shores

Macon- Patty Shores, wife of the late local architect, John R. Shores, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Shores was a lifelong resident of Macon and was the daughter of the late Nina Chaffin Kitchens and Travis Kitchens. A graduate of A. L. Miller High School, she also attended Business Training Institute (BTI). She was a former member of Riverside Golf and Country Club. Survivors include her son, Scotty Shores of Florida; sister, Betty Davis of Macon; brother, Tee Kitchens of Alabama and her beloved Shih Tzu, Benji. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
