Patsy Ann Jackson

Macon- Patsy Ann Jackson, 74, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at 11:00 AM, at Forest Hills United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Forest Hills UMC building fund or to the donor's favorite charity. Mrs. Jackson was born in Texas and graduated from Edna High School. She attended college in Victoria, TX and San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Jackson married her late husband, John W. "Billy" Jackson in Texas and then moved to Macon, GA. She attended Macon Technical School and worked as a cosmetologist running her own shop. Mrs. Jackson later taught cosmetology at Central GA Technical College until she retired 20 years ago. She enjoyed the rest of her life involved in her church, traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her sisters, Flora Lee Moore, Betty Cunningham and Nellie Whittley. Survivors: Son, Ricky (Susan) Jackson of Macon, GA; Son, Forrest (Terri) Jackson of Macon, GA; Son, J. Everette (Patti) Jackson of Macon, GA; Son, John (Beth ) Jackson, Jr. of Macon, GA; Sister, Ruth (Jene) Reckaway of Edna, TX; Sister, Mattie (Lonnie) Rab of Edna, TX; Brother, Bobo Wiegand of Edna, TX; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
