Patricia Ann Hendricks

Pat Hendricks, 77, of Macon, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. Funeral services will be held at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, on Monday, June 8, 2026, with a period for visitation beginning at 1:00 pm and formal services at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow in James Cemetery, located on Mountain Springs Road, Macon, GA 31217.

Patricia Ann Johnson was born in Macon, Georgia on December 30, 1948, to the late Clara Louise Martin and James Franklin Johnson. She enjoyed gardening and even spent some time working at a plant nursery in Florida. She also worked at Roses and Walmart for many years. She loved to craft, often found with a hot glue gun in hand and her classic rock music blasting. Pat loved animals and raised poodles for many years. She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and found great peace attending Kingdom Hall.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her daughter, Sheila Birdsong; brother, Danny Johnson; sister, Jean Johnson; and sister-in-law, Darlene Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Herman “JR” Hendricks; a brother, Jimmy Johnson of Jones County; as well as three children, Jamie Birdsong (Connie) of Orange Park, California; Sherry Mauldin of Warner Robins; and Danielle Mimbs of Jones County; as well as her grandchildren, Jamie Birdsong, Jr.; Tabitha; Crystal; Chris Birdsong; Levi Newman (Whittney); Amber Birdsong; Cameron Mimbs (Kara); and Kylie Fuller; and great grandchildren.
