Patricia Ann Eidam, loving wife, mother of three children, and grandmother to two grandchildren, passed away January 15, 2019 at the age of 78 years.
Born in Opelika, Alabama February 19, 1940, Patricia was the daughter of the late Earling Ray Green and Marguerite Green. She inherited her parents’ creative passion and could be found quilting, crocheting, needlepointing, and painting in her free time. Patricia was a graduate of Clift High School in Opelika, Alabama. During her career, Patricia worked as the secretary for the Title II Director for the Muscogee County Board of Education. She retired from the Bibb County Board of Education as the Wage and Salary Coordinator in 2000.
Patricia was loved deeply by her husband, William Kenneth Eidam, daughters, Deborah Rhea Eidam and Kelli Marguerite Stokes of Macon, Georgia; son, Van Bradford Strickland of Columbus, Georgia; grandchildren William James Stokes and Emma Grace Stokes of Macon, Georgia; sister Barbara Sue Greely (Dennis) of Opelika, Alabama; nieces, nephews and friends in Georgia, Alabama, and Virginia.
The family would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice during Patricia’s final days. The love and support that has been received from all who loved Patricia helped the family during this time.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 3:00 on Monday, January 21, 2019, at the Cupola with Reverend John Wood officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at Hart’s. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery.
