Opal Marie Warren

Macon- Opal Marie Warren, 83, died Thursday, August 12, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola with the Reverend Stan Braley officiating. Burial will be private. The family will greet friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the funeral home on Saturday and suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Central Georgia, P. O. Box 6533, Macon, GA 31208.

Mrs. Warren, daughter of the late Millard Lee Carpenter and the late Rose Johnson Bowden, was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas, where she lived for many years. She was a dispersing officer, retired from civil service in Albany, Georgia. Mrs. Warren was predeceased by her son, Ronald Warren, and by one sister, Florence Montgomery.

Survivors include a son, Donald Warren (Carol) of Macon and a daughter, D. D. White (Lew Skaug) of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
