Jeffersonville, IN- Opal Alene Couch, 75, of Jeffersonville, IN, died Saturday, July 4, 2009. Services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Couch, a member of Branham Tabernacle in Jeffersonville, IN, was the daughter of the late Walter Grimes and the late Elizabeth Ryals Grimes. She was born in Alamo, GA on October 12, 1933. Mrs. Couch was a private duty nurse. Mrs. Couch is survived by her husband, J. Lamar Couch of Jeffersonville, IN; sons, Greg C. (Rhonda) Sears of Perry, FL, Craig L. (Melissa) Couch of Bonaire, GA, and James D. Couch of Centerville, GA; daughter, Wanda A. Shoemaker of Byron, GA; sisters, Eula Britt of Jacksonville, FL, Beulah Anderson and Verbia Asbell, both of Macon; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
