Junior

Ollie Thomas Scarborough, Jr., 84, of Macon passed away on August 4, 2026, at Brightmoor Hospice House. A memorial service in his honor will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Saturday, August 15, 2026, beginning at 2:00PM, with Reverend Timothy Peavy officiating.

Born October 21, 1939, to the late Iris Killingworth and Ollie Thomas Scarborough, Sr., he was known to most as “Junior”. He built a career as a mechanic and, with that, a business, Scarborough’s Truck Repair. Junior enjoyed travelling and spending time with family and friends. In his free time, he could often be found watching NASCAR. Junior lived rich and full life and will be sorely missed.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Scarborough; children, Stacy Scarborough (Sheila) and Jeffrey Scarborough; grandchildren, Thomas Scarborough, Brian Scarborough, Jason Scarborough, Candice Scarborough, Brandie Scarborough, Jennifer Youman, Matthews Scarborough, and Michael Scarborough; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. His siblings are Joyce Scarborough, Grace Mullis, Dora Hilliard, Donnie Scarborough, and Lonnie Scarborough.
