Norma (Green) Stokes

Mrs. Norma Stokes, age 87, of Winston, GA was called to her eternal home by her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 26, 2015. She was born March 29, 1928, in Detroit, Michigan, the eldest daughter of the late Norman S. Green and Elizabeth H. Green. Norma touched the many lives of her students at J. Colin English and Tropic Isles Elementary in North Fort Myers, FL, and Pelican Elementary in Cape Coral, FL, in the media center. We will treasure her devoted Christian faith as a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Ft. Myers, FL; St. John's Episcopal Church of Gig Harbor, WA; St. Bede's Episcopal Church of Port Orchard, WA. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Gene, daughter, Gena, and sister, Shirley of Naples, FL. Norma is survived by her loving children, Diane Stokes and Terry Perkins, Christine (Stokes) Wright and husband Jim, son, Richard Stokes, and Sheri (Stokes) Seratt and husband Phil. Grandchildren, Jimmy Wright and wife Jackie, Jeff Wright and Leslie (Seratt) Wallace. Great-grandchildren, Blake Wright, Gavin Wright, Jenna Wallace and Caty Jewel. We will always cherish her faith, love, laughter, and gentle nature that she shared with her family and friends. Her cremated remains will be interred in Washington state.
