Nina Tanner Yeomans passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in Macon, Georgia. She was born September 11, 1926 in Wrightsville, Georgia, the eighth of ten children born to Eugene and Pearl Tanner. Her husband, Travis R. Yeomans, predeceased her. She is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Diane and Alan Baca, Linda and Dr. Jeff Davis. She was a loving grandparent to her four grandchildren and their spouses, Ashley and Justin Guthrie, Allison and Trey Deaton, Jeffrey and Kellie Davis and Thomas Davis. She also adored her great grandchildren, Davis, Jack and Thomas Guthrie, Chase and Austin Deaton and William Minor. Nina was an active member of Mulberry Methodist Church, and held leadership roles in the following organizations, Northwoods Garden Club, North Macon Kawanis Club, Civic Women's Club, The Joy Class, Esther Circle, and Historic Macon. She retired from the University of Georgia Bibb County Extension Service where she served in an administrative support role the people of our community. Funeral services will be held 2:00p.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Mulberry Methodist Church with the Reverend Jimmy Towson officiating. The family will greet friends from 1:00p.m. until service time in the parlor. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
