Nina Janet Wilkes

Macon- Nina Janet Wilkes, 70, of 128 North Springs Court, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2:00PM at Forest Hills United Methodist Church with the Reverends Shane Green and Diane Sweckard officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery (North Gate). The family may be contacted at 2710 Hillandale Circle and will greet friends on Friday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Forest Hills United Methodist Church, Building Fund, 1217 Forest Hill Road, Macon, GA 31210 or to Heartland Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, GA 31210. Mrs. Wilkes, wife of the late Harold Glen Wilkes, Sr., was a graduate of Wesleyan College. She was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir and the Stephen Ministry. She was a member of Needlepoint Guild (American). Mrs. Wilkes is survived by her children, Lisa Herrick (Ben) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Glen Wilkes, Jr. (Lori) of Hillsboro, GA; five grandchildren; brother, Dwight Collins (Jennie) of Fayetteville, GA; sister, Barbara Bridson (Wes) of Senoia, GA.
