Nevonia Simmons
February 28, 1936 — August 7, 2018
Nevonia Simmons, of Macon, passed away August 7, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 2:00 PM, at Real Life Church, with Pastor Bo Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Hinson Family Cemetery on Sapp Road in Twiggs County. The family will greet friends at the church 2 hours prior to the service.
Mrs. Simmons enjoyed horses and liked building things out of wood. She was a homemaker that loved her family and had the patience of Job.
Survivors: Son, Sammy Simmons, of Macon; Daughter, Sharon Collins of Gray; Daughter, Brenda Metz, of Macon; Daughter, Janis Johnson, of Nashville; Daughter, Wonda Slayton, of Gray; Daughter, Rachel (Wayne) Butler, of Macon; 19 Grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
