Nellie Louise Scarbary Clance

Louise "Ma" Clance of Lizella, Georgia passed away at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, Georgia on Monday, November 7, 2016. She was born in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia to late parents, Otis T. and Nora Parker Scarbary, Sr. Preceding her in death were brothers, James, Malcolm, Otis, and Rufus Scarbary. Louise was married to the late John Henry Clance, Sr. since July 2, 1947. They have four sons, John Henry Clance, Jr. (Wanda), Dan T. Clance (Julie), Hoyt E. Clance (Laura), and Charles D. Clance (Denise); one sister, Vera Burdeaux; and one brother, Paul Scarbary (Connie). She was blessed to have sixteen grandchildren; and forty-three great grandchildren. Family will be at John Henry and Wanda's home at 4194 Sandy Point Road, Lizella. Family will greet friends at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, on Thursday, November 10, 2016 between 5:00-7:00PM with a service to follow starting at 7:00PM. The Reverend Charles Clance will officiate. A burial will follow the next day, Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10:00AM in Liberty Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Myricks Mill Road, in Twiggs County. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
