Macon- Nellie Mae "Nell" Bean Justice, 94, passed away Friday December 25, 2009. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday December 29, 2009, at 1PM, at Macon Memorial Park with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating. Visitation will be held Monday December 28, 2009, from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Cross Keys United Methodist Church. Mrs. Justice was born in Beulah, Alabama on August 24, 1915. She lived in Macon most of her life. She was a member of Cross Keys United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women of Cross Keys. Mrs. Justice was retired from F.W. Woolworth's and was a member of the United Transportation Union Women's Auxiliary #257. She loved her family and was a devoted sister, aunt, wife and friend during her life. She loved to garden and read. Mrs. Justice was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas I. Justice and her brother, Doyle E. Bean, whom she lovingly cared for until his death in 2007. Survivors: Nephew, Jimmy L. (Elaine) Bean of Macon; Nephew, Alford (Jenny) Bean of Roberta; Niece, Brenda Jackson of Cartersville; Niece, Wanda (Bill) Patrick of Macon; Niece, Gwen (Tom) Barton of Macon; Niece, Eugenia Slocomb of Florida; Brother-in-law, Joe (Joanne) Justice of Macon and several great nieces and great nephews.
