Nell Autry Moore

Nell Autry Moore, 85, of Macon, died Friday, August 27, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 2:30PM Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Parkway Assembly of God with Pastor Joe E. Williams, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park. Visitation: Saturday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. The family may be contacted at 1080 Wesleyan Drive, the residence of Joe and Becky Williams.

Nell Moore was born in Gainesville, Georgia on August 8, 1925. Her parents were Marvin Terrell Autry and Nettie Mae Allison Autry. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles Calvin Moore. She is also survived by three children: Terry Moore (Joyce) son, Rebecca Moore Williams (Joe) and Debi Moore Reed (Howard), daughters. Her grandchildren are Marti Moore Roper (Will) Kati Williams Hill (Patrick), Joseph (Jed) E. Williams, III (Stacie), Matthew M. Reed, Nathan F. Reed, Elizabeth A. Reed, and Ashby C. Reed. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Austin C. Williams.

Mrs. Moore was a devoted wife and mother. She was an active member of Parkway Assembly of God. Her church played a huge role in her life. Serving Christ and others was her primary occupation. Her life's goal was training her children and grandchildren in God's ways. She wanted them to know God as she did and prayed daily they would.
