Nancy Barringer

Nancy Ruth Barringer, 63, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Hart’s Chapel at the Cupola, with Pastor Chris Minton officiating.   The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow the service at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Daughter of the late John Joseph Barringer, Jr. and Frances McAllister Barringer, Nancy was born in Macon, Georgia on July 4, 1960. She was a graduate of Chapel Hill Academy in Macon.  In her younger years, she worked as a nurse assistant at Charter Northside Hospital. Nancy was a member of Tatnall Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed planting flowers, playing tennis, and going to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina when she was younger.

Nancy is survived by her sister, Connie TeSelle (John); brother, Robert Barringer (Margi e); and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was greeted in Heaven by her brothers, John Joseph Barringer, III and Douglas Alex Barringer.
