Nadine Jackson

Nadine Jackson, 82, went to be with the Lord on the morning of Thursday, March 10, 2016. Nadine was born on April 3, 1933, in Salem, Ohio, to the late Emmor and Evelyn Schneider. Although her given name was Anita Nadine, she was known throughout her life as Nadine by family and friends. She lived much of her life in Alliance, Ohio, and became an accomplished pianist at an early age. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Charles, and the mother of four children. Later in life, she and her husband moved to Macon where she lived for over twenty years. A lifelong advocate of physical fitness, she was an active member of The Wellness Center in Macon and had many friends there. She had a strong faith in God and was a member of Northminster Presbyterian Church in Macon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmor and Evelyn Schneider, by her husband of forty-five years, Charles Jackson, and by her brother, Roger Schneider. Her memory will be forever treasured by her son, David Jackson (Tracey) of Macon, Georgia, and daughters, Debra Thornton-Frias (Dan) of Brunswick, Ohio, Diane Breit (Steve) of Hartville, Ohio, and Denise Veno (Phil - deceased) of Canton, Ohio; grandchildren, Caroline and William Jackson of Macon, Georgia, Joshua and Jennifer Frias of Brunswick, Ohio, Amy Novak and Jeffrey Breit of Hartville, Ohio, Philip Veno of Canton, Ohio, and nine great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for Nadine at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Register online at www.hartsmort.com.
