N. Waudene Neal Gonzalez

N. Waudene Neal Gonzalez, 83, of Macon, passed away Sunday, July 24th, 2022.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 30th, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Hart’s at the Cupola with Dr. Mark Hudgins officiating.  The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon GA 31201.

Daughter of the late D. C. and Margaret Neal, Mrs. Gonzalez was a member of Ingleside Baptist and very strong in her faith.  She was a 1957 graduate of A.L. Miller High School and attended Crandall Business College.  Mrs. Gonzalez was a long-time banker, retiring from the former Trust Company Bank.  She enjoyed gardening, reading, and writing, and was an avid newspaper reader.

Mrs. Gonzalez was preceded in death by her brother, Gawaine Neal.

Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her husband, Johnny Gonzalez of Macon; children, Randy Gonzalez (Denise) of Macon, Lisa Gonzalez-Bullard (Patrick) of Rowland, North Carolina, and Tracy Gonzalez (Teri) of Bolingbroke, Georgia; grandchildren, Matthew Gonzalez (Christina) of Lehi, Utah, Nicole Gonzalez of Macon, Trevor Bullard of Rowland, and Josh Gonzalez, and Kristin Gonzalez, both of Bolingbroke; great granddaughter, Shade Gonzalez of Lehi; brother, Gary Neal (Shelvy) of Macon; sister, Glenda Heath of Macon; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
