Myrtle "Joyce" Johnson

Ms. Myrtle “Joyce” Johnson, 83, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020.  Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Hart’s Mortuary, Jones County Chapel, with the Reverend Tommy Jordan officiating.  Burial will be in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Johnson, daughter of the late Chester and Ella Mae George, was a life-long resident of Jones County.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church and was retired from Brown and Williamson.

Ms. Johnson is survived by her children, Lonnie Wayne Johnson (Patricia) of Gray, Billy Johnson (Denise) of Gray, Kathy Friddle (Rod) of Pfafftown, North Carolina, Barbara Burnette (Jimmy) of Gray, and Ronnie Johnson (Paula) of Macon; grandchildren, Greg Johnson (Kendra), Ellen Johnson, Elaine Keenan (Rick), Nick Johnson (Autumn), Becky Millard (Jason), Chris Morrison, Jeff Morrison (Stephanie), Justin Burnette, Haley Burnette, Ryan Johnson, and Ross Joiner (Lindsey); and great-grandchildren, Macey, Mason, Clayton, Presley, Austie, Emmett, Hayden, Hudson, Jonathan, Hannah, Jaime, Stormie, River, Makenzie, and Daxton.
