Myrtie Anitra Bruner Hardeman

Myrtie Anitra Hardeman, 94, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.

Born in Macon on November 13, 1931, to the late George Henry Bruner and Myrtie Patterson Bruner, Myrtie served as head majorette at Miller High School. She had a deep love for animals, enjoyed painting, and was a very talented artist.

Myrtie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Donna Leigh Hardeman and son, Derek Wesley Hardeman, both of Macon. She was preceded in death by her Fur Baby, Bambi.
