Murray Ashley Nixon

Murray Ashley Nixon, 18, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Funeral services will be at 3:00PM on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Vineville United Methodist Church with Dr. Jimmy Asbell and the Reverend Ted Goshorn officiating. Burial will be private at Riverside Cemetery. Family will greet friends between 3:00-5:00PM on Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road. Murray was a 2015 graduate of Stratford Academy where she was a varsity cheerleader, active in many clubs and activities, and a loyal friend to all. She was a freshman at Georgia Southern University where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She quickly made many new friends and loved each and every one of them. Her infectious personality was undeniable. She absolutely loved to make people laugh. Her constant bright smile could brighten any room. Survivors include her mother and step-father, Laura Solomon Campbell and Neal Russell Campbell, Jr. of Macon; father, James Gregg Nixon of Macon; brothers and sisters, Claire, Carter, and Jackson Campbell; grandmother, Josie "Gaboo" Dodd Solomon of Macon; grandmother, Virginia "Gigi" Brown Cutler of Macon; grandparents, Dr. David & Melinda Carter of North Augusta, South Carolina, grandfather, Robert English "Granddaddy" Solomon of Macon; aunts and uncles, Jodi Bowman (Craig) of Macon, Ginger Nixon Mixon (Jeff) of Cumming, Rob Solomon of Atlanta, LeAnne Kaase (Matt) of Macon, Matt Nixon (Nicole) of Cumming, Kristen Carter of Atlanta, David Carter (Kim) of Atlanta, and Betsy Ballard (Gary) of Macon; great uncle, Murray S. Brown (David) of The Villages, Florida; and cousins, Henry and Sarah Mixon of Cumming, and Caitlyn, Cade and Maddie Bowman of Macon.
