Morgan "Jr." McCranie died October 3, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 6, 2014, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The Reverend David Sorrow will officiate. the family will greet friends following the service. Born in Eastman, Mr. McCranie was an avid fisherman. He was retired from McKinney's Propane and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. McCranie is survived by his life partner of 40 years, Judy Ferguson of Byron; son: Raymond McCranie (Lisa) of Macon; daughter: Lorrie Self of Forsyth; son: Keith McCranie of Macon; stepson: Chester Ferguson of Byron; brother: Wayne McCranie, Sr. of Juliette; sisters: Mary Laverne Mosher and Martha Ann, both of Forsyth; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
