Monteen Hammond Sanders

Macon- Monteen Hammond Sanders, 91, of Macon, GA died Saturday, September 26, 2009. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 4:00PM in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary, Cherry Street, with visitation at home immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Heartland Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, GA 31210.

Mrs. Sanders was predeceased by her husband, C. H. Sanders, and her son, Dennis Sanders.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by her daughter, Deanna Sanders of Macon; grandchildren, Eli Sanders of Macon and Jessica Nichols (Jamie) of Eatonton; great-grandchildren, Maaseal Outley and Lilly Nichols, both of Eatonton; dear friend, Helga Carpenter of Gray.
