Mildred "Millie" Craven

Mildred "Millie" Craven, 84, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2017. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 11:00 AM, in Riverside Cemetery. The family will greet friends Friday, February 3, 2017, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at Hart's Mortuary at the Cupola. Millie was the third of eight children born to Alvin and Jessie Williams Morgan. She was born at home in Clarke County, GA, on February 27, 1932. Millie's baking skills were exceptional and she was well known for her beautiful handmade crafts that she generously shared with family and friends. She and husband Frank traveled extensively with Kiwanis and Millie made friends wherever they would go. Millie and Frank were long-time members of Christ Church in Macon and were Meal on Wheels drivers for many years. Millie was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Frank E. Craven. Survivors include daughters, Karen (Chuck) Maurizi of Macon and Valerie (Eldo) Hartz of Tybee Island; grandchildren, Caitlin (Tony) Vadini, Wolfgang Hartz and Jessie Rose Hartz, and great-grandchildren Aurora Vadini and Roman Vadini.
