Mike "The Hat" Douglas

Macon-Mike "The Hat" Douglas, age 51, passed away on August 21, 2009. A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 23, at 3:00 PM at Highpoint Church, 2963 Hollis Road in Macon. A private interment will be held on Monday, August 24 in Sandersville, Georgia Mike was a taxi driver for Yellow Cab for many years. He was a great friend and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his parents, Raymond and LaCora Douglas of Macon, siblings, sister Amelia Wilson of Oviedo, FL, brothers, Alan Douglas, of Savannah, GA, and David Douglas of Macon, 8 nieces and 3 nephews. Donations may be sent to Raymond Douglas, 859 Green Oak Terrace, Macon, GA 31210 to help offset costs of burial. Hart's Mortuary and Crematory has charge of the arrangements.
