Michael Joseph Vitale, Jr.

Michael Joseph Vitale, Jr., 75, of Macon, Georgia, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2022. Visitation with the family will be held at noon, Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Hart’s Mortuary.   A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Teresa Love Edwards of Vineville United Methodist Church officiating.

Michael was President and CEO of Vitco Fire and Safety, Inc. in Macon. He attended Vineville United Methodist Church.

Michael was a devoted husband, father, and loyal friend who loved deep sea fishing, gourmet cooking, and his many pet cats. He also was a ham radio enthusiast and loved all things technical.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Jackie Vitale, and his brother, Greg Vitale. He is survived by his wife, Kathi; daughters, Jennifer and Melissa; sister, Angela Vitale Lutz (Tom); brother-in-law, Bill Becraft (Nancy); sister-in-law, Brenda Vitale; and 12 loving nieces and nephews.
