Michael Philip Potkulski

Mike Potkulski, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 2nd.  A service will be held on Tuesday, October 5th, 11:00 a.m. at Hart’s at the Cupola.

Mike was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Clara Potkulski.  After serving in the Army during the Korean War, he worked in many aspects of law enforcement until his retirement in 2005 when he and his wife Dolly moved to Macon Georgia.  There Mike attended Beth Y’eshua International and sang in the Mable White Baptist senior choir whenever he was able.

Mike is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dolly; son Daniel Potkulski and his wife Jackie, granddaughter Callie Johnson, and grandson Will Potkulski; daughter Dianne Benson and grandchildren, Louis, Allyce, Marcus, Jordan, Janelle and Aleta Benson; daughter Donna Telencio and her husband John; six great grandchildren and sister Sylvia Bush and nephews Bill and Michael Bush. He is preceded in death by his baby son Michael Potkulski.
