Michael Leonard Kennedy

Michael Leonard Kennedy, 56, passed away on April 21, 2014. Funeral services will be at 4:00PM on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the chapel of Hart’s Mortuary at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Rex Odom officiating. A visitation will follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heritage United Methodist Church, 4062 Vineville Avenue, Macon, Georgia 31210, or to donor’s favorite charity.

Mr. Kennedy was a 1976 graduate of Stratford Academy and he attended Georgia Southern College. He retired from Fordham Jewelers but his passion was his music. He was known throughout the community for his musical talent. Mr. Kennedy was a member of Heritage United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his son, Jesse Kyle Kennedy of Macon; sister, Carol Kennedy Williams of Macon; niece, Sarah Williams of Atlanta; nephew, Spencer Williams of Macon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
