Michael "Mike" Charles Mixter

Michael “Mike” C. Mixter, 65, of Macon, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Hart's Mortuary on Cherry Street, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Mike enjoyed hunting and fishing in Middle Georgia and crabbing at Tybee Island.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ashe Mixter and father, Donald Charles Mixter.

Mike is survived by his children, Jamie LaGroon (Joni), Jennifer (Chuck) Miller, Jessica “Gator” Mixter, and Joshua Mixter, all of Macon; grandchildren, Halie and Rylie Barnes, Hunter and Landon LaGroon, Erika Taylor (Austin), Sean Williams, II, Clara Anne Williams, Michael Mixter, and Joshua Mixter, II; great grandchildren, Gracie LaGroon and Asher Taylor; mother, Virginia Giegar Holloman; and best four-legged friend, Elmo.
