Macon-Mercedes Norma Crowder died Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Services will be private. Donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation, 550 Pharr Rd, Suite 550, Atlanta GA 30305. Mrs. Crowder was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Francisco Edmundo Quiroga and the late Antonia Nunez Quiroga. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Elijah Crowder. Survivors include her three daughters, Cheryl Rainey (Raiford) of Macon, Jean Allan of Macon, and Brenda Overturf of Tucson, AZ; eight grandchildren, Naomi Martini, Matthew Rainey, Logan Ann Rainey, Camille Allan, Christopher Reyes (Saydee), Laura Reyes, Faith Overturf and James Miscione; two great grandchildren, Bryson Allan and Cristian Reyes; two brothers, Frank Quiroga of New York City and Hector Quiroga of Colorado Springs, CO; and a sister, Camille Labriola of New York City.
